Liquiproof LABS – The Eco-Friendly fashion care solution
For World Earth Day, we wanted to look into how our products are the eco-friendly and sustainable option when it comes to fashion care.
As most of us know, fast fashion is killing our world. There was a saying by Yves Saint Laurent that said, “Fashion fades, style is eternal”, but this saying may no longer be true.
More than 60 per cent of fabric fibres are now synthetics, derived from fossil fuels, so when are clothing ends up in a landfill, it will not decay.
Facts like these inspired our mission to change people’s behaviour when it came to taking care of their fashion items and getting them to last for longer.
We do this by producing three fashion care products that are entirely non-toxic, eco-friendly and sustainable.
The Liquiproof LABS Protector allows you to spray an invisible protective layer on your clothing and footwear, that protects the item from ALL spills and stains.
The Protector also comes in a recyclable bottle, that does not emit any toxins into the atmosphere when using the product, unlike a lot of our competitors sprays that come in aerosol bottles. It is said that aerosol bottles contain chemicals such as carcinogens and neurotoxins that are harmful to our bodies, children, pets and our planet.
Our Protector is made from a silicon dioxide, a natural compound composed of silicon and oxygen.
Our freshener is made to reduce your need to do laundry, by freshening your clothes immediately with a 100% natural and non-toxic mix of probiotics (bad bacteria) that eliminates the odour causing bad bacteria.
The spray itself contains zero harsh chemicals and is 100% biodegradable and safe to use around the home with children or pets around.
The Eco-Cleaner has been produced to allow you to get your older items looking brand new again and restore them so that they look like they were just off the shop shelf again!
Similar to our Protector and Freshener, the Eco-Cleaner is 100% natural and biodegradable. By restoring items with our Eco-Cleaner, you postpone the need to purchase new items to replace them, therefore slowing the impact of fast fashion.
